Summer Learning Ideas
Fun Ways to Keep Kids Learning and Thinking

Did you know?

Research shows that when students are on summer vacation, they experience learning loss.   Students who struggle in school have the most learning loss. Over time, this learning loss can amount to a student falling years behind their grade level classmates.

Fortunately, there are fun and simple ways to keep your kids learning and thinking this summer. The first step is to set aside time for your child to read daily. Check out “Summer Learning Idea #1” for ideas to motivate all readers. The additional links below suggest games and websites for you to share with your child to keep them engaged in learning all summer long!
